HRC Profile

Hudspeth Regional Center is one of five state operated comprehensive regional facilities for persons with developmental disabilities/mental retardation operated under the administration of the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Mental Retardation.

Hudspeth Regional Center, a 120 acre campus, located in Rankin County, Mississippi is a licensed Intermediate Care Facility for Persons with Mental Retardation (ICF/MR) which provides 24 hour care. Approximately 295 consumers reside on the facility campus. In addition, approximately 1450 consumers receive an array of services through the facility's Community Services Division. All services and programs are based on a interdisciplinary team approach to program development and implementation.

Hudspeth Regional Center is a Department of Mental Health Facility and a drug free workplace.  It is the policy of the Department of Mental Health and each facility to recruit, employ, and promote qualified employees and applicants, and to provide services to each individual without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability.
