The Personnel Office is responsible for recruiting, screening and referring applicants to the various units for placement. The Department of Mental Health complies with the personnel principles of the State Personnel Board so that recruitment, selection and advancement of employees is based upon relative ability. Open consideration is given to qualified applicants for initial appointment.
